"Zara"

Zara was bred by Wendy Blinkhorn and Graham Turner, she was a mistake, the result of an accidental mating between a half brother and sister, both by "Thompson" (Bucksteps Going For Gold) who you can see on "Floozie and Thompsons" page. Her dam was by "Charlie Brown". So it was a very tight pedigree, she was one of four lovely puppies all very typical as you would expect from such close breeding.

She came to us at 6 weeks old, and even at that age I knew then we had something very special.
She didn't disappoint us, she was a consistant winner at all the shows, and always tried so hard to please us. She gained her title with ease, winning 3 C.Cs. and 8 Res. C.Cs.

Zara was a very gentle dog, always faithful and obedient, she just loved our grandchildren, and was kind and tolerant with the puppies and the Boston's, who really push their luck at times.

Zara died on Sunday the 27th. June 2010 at the age of 12 years 7 months. Loving and gentle to the end, we miss you Z.
