"Phoebe" 12-12-1992 - 07- 09-2006 Phoebe was the "apple of my eye". Although I love all my Boxers dearly and am proud of them all. "Phoebe" was very special. From the minute she was born I just knew she would be a Champion. She was a dark glossy brindle baby with perfect white markings and a head to die for. Her show career was spectacular, she won only 5 C.Cs.but notched up 12 Res. C.Cs. (usually behind the famous Ch. Roamaro Scotch Mist Of Winuwuk).She took the Res. C.C. at CRUFTS in 1996 and 1997. Also in 1997 she won the coveted "COTSWOLD BOXER OF THE YEAR AWARD". She was a very good producer, in 1999 she was "JOINT TOP BOXER DAM" (again shared with Scotch Mist). She is the dam of "Ch. Bucksteps Starlite Express" and "Bucksteps Evita", also a C.C. winner. I have never had a Boxer who was such a joy to show, she always tried so hard to please and she loved every minute. At home she was a great character, she was the only one who could open the fridge door !!. Phoebe died on the 7th. September 2006, she was almost 14 years old. She was a wonderful old girl always happy and so good natured. She was fit and well and enjoying her walks right up to the last few weeks of her life. Phoebe and her Brother "Ch. Bucksteps Charlie Brown" were very very special Boxers.
